Manipulation, exploitation, and gaslighting through the lens of a child... not a fun read. The art style alone with its genius use of negative space and black ink is horrifying. Honestly, even readers might feel gaslighted with how much of a liar the mom is. Halfway through the story, I was gaslit by the mother... that tells a lot about this manga. This is so scary.

It breaks my heart to think that when we leave outside that toxic bubble, who will be left with all the responsibility instead?
