Urashima Eiji went drinking with his friends and wakes up to a beautiful girlfriend he doesn't recall having??? This silly event will take him to a confusing rabbit hole.
The artist really popped off. I remember this becoming popular and it does not disappoint. LOTS of twists and yet it does a great job of making sure there aren't any plot holes!! Love this artist so much omg!! Check out their other works as well. Also the plot twist with the ____ is crazy and well-done.
Yuriko (aroace) and Gakurouta (closeted gay) enters into a lavender marriage. Both are pressured by their families to marry with Gakurouta in a one-sided love with his childhood friend, Sousuke. What does it really mean to be in a lavender marriage anyway?
This one hits close home. It delves into the sexual orientation of the characters, conformity, trauma, societal expectations, and even tackling what marriage even is and who decides to get married. It's heart-wrenching and heart-warming
Guy is your average student and he works hard doing housekeeping services. One day, he receives a request from a client he didn't expect—it's their school's popular madonna!!
Honestly, very light-hearted, very slice-of-life as well. I just felt good reading this when I normally don't reading hetero romance stories. What I really like about this one is that there is no clichès, dramatic tropes like miscommunication, immature characters.
While many have won the prestigious Akutagawa Award, rare is it that you'll find a literary genius—not until a 15-year-old's handwritten manuscript wins the prize.
Honestly adored this one so much. I enjoy Hibiki and Rika's characters. Ryota is such a red flag but i enjoy seeing contrasts in character too. It's so nice to see what it would be like becoming friends with a literal genius. This was such an eye-opener and a fun read! Really introspective too.
What happens when a fudanshi gets in the way of his ship?
This is so funny lmao. Added this in just because of the laughs and giggles.
Takopi is an alien that wants to make everyone happy!!! He goes to earth to help this girl named Shizuka. Will Takopi's limitless optimism save this girl?
Read this because there's an anime adaptation with ep 1 right now. That twist caught me off SO BAD. Trigger warning though, it does not shy away from abuse, bullying, and unaliving yourself. It's so heavy, but so well-done. Personally, i feel bad for Takopi, but i love seeing naive characters becoming disillusioned with reality
Melt is the only daughter of the boss that holds New Jersey in its grip. Instead of receiving a present on her 20th birthday, she is kidnapped by a stranger named Bud. "Kidnapped" or freed?
Been a long time since I've read peak. This story is so unique. I love the pacing and the art style as well. There's a reason why Melt has been locked up all her life, and no it's not because she's his only daughter.
Girl goes undercover as a man, hiding from her own relatives who assassinated her family including her.
We need more girlboss stories!! Story is not focused so much on love which is fresh for me. I would truly love to see her get her revenge and reclaim her rightful throne as queen.
Girl who gets used to her normal life suddenly gets a 180 degree flip. How will she cope with these new changes happening?
Probably the most relatable manga I've read regarding a woman. All her flaws and quirks are so me. Definitely worth checking out.
A serial killer is mysteriously found dead in his jail cell, prompting into deeper investigation of his killings. But something feels...off
Interesting. Same artist of "My Dearest Self With Malice Aforethought."
