Shimazaki was raised as a weapon of war from an international terrorist group. He escapes and tries to live out his normal life in Japan, but even his peaceful days has a countdown.
Reminds me of "The Fable" which I enjoyed.
Two misfits become friends. We see their struggles and their lives learning from one another—living their neurodivergent life in a neurotypical world.
PEAK. I'VE NEVER SEEN A MANGA TALK ABOUT NEURODIVERGENCY BEFORE!!!! I FELT SO SEEN......
We follow a mom's journey of looking over her child who might be gay.
Honestly so wholesome. This would be a great recommendation to all mothers out hrre trying and learning to love their child no matter who they are.
Bibi wants to make Peter in love with her, only her. In an attempt to murder his friend, Amy, Bibi invites her to her house. Surprisingly, she doesn't kill her...
PEAAAAAAAAAAK. One of my fav GLs out there!!! Everything about this is so unique and cohesive. The storyline is well fleshed out!
Female lead wants to become "normal" and the only solution she could think of is befriending the school's beloved madonna, even if she's a human-eating monster.
Art style is absolutely gorgeous! But the premise is interesting too! I love how it isn't the typical story progression you'd expect. You still can't trust the monster even if it decided to befriend the female lead. I don't know how this will end knowing it's doomed either way.
Imagine "1984" by George Orwell and The Truman Show combined. This is that manga.
ABSOLUTELY INSANE PREMISE!! I cannot imagine the brain to think of such a concept that is interesting and highly relevant in today's world! This is the level of dystopian that really fucks you up. This is one of those mangas that I think everyone should read.
Learn more about women's struggles under the patriarchy. I need more feminist, women-led mangas!!!
Imagine pretending to be a girl (as a guy) to please a dying chairman to pay your mother's hospital bills. All goes well until one summer job evolved into an unexpected romance with the chairman's grandson. But even after 7 years with amnesia, his heart and soul remembers you.
PEAK. I was spoiled left and right, but the ending still made me cry. This was so perfect it did not leave out any story gaps. The art is amazing as well! We need more yearning semes Finished this in one sitting.
What was supposed to be just an ordinary layout of a house soon turns into a mysterious murder case for an occult writer and an architect.
This manga is inspired from the novel "Strange Houses" by Uketsu. Absolutely interesting. Even I started to form my own hypotheses while Kurehara was explaining his own thoughts on the layouts. Definitely terrifying since it's based in real life but it's more of a narrative horror than an action horror.
Watch how a kuro-gyaru and a retail worker fall in love in this aged-up love story!!
We need more love stories between adults!!! This was so refreshing! It may be light-hearted, but it's grounded on everyday realities like your being overprotective of your friend who's had a bad experience from an ex, girlhood between women, being embarrassed to show your bare face to your boyfriend, and everything else. It's so realistically whimsical that it healed me. I hope someone picks this
