Read but not in 'Already Read'

Read this all in one go. The premise was good at the start but overall it wasn't that great for me to put it in the "Already Read" Hall of fame. I give this a 6.5/10

Weirdly enough, this was a webtoon that I would always wait for updates for the first 1-30 chapters. Along the lines, I somehow got slapped with a sense of reality out of the blue that this webtoon is okay... but not great. It's a good webtoon to past the time but I reckon there are other webtoons that are significantly better than this.

Taking this out from my "Already read" list after re-reading this just now. I feel like I really liked this story because of Itonaga and how adorable he was but Sanada is TRASH. No apologies whatsoever, no hard remorse for his past actions... He definitely didn't change much ever since then but I guess it's because you can't have that much character development in just 5 chapters. But still, this left a bad aftertaste so I'm demoting this. LOL

Putting this here because I might forget I binged this at some point. The ending was super rushed. I was also clinging on to the fact that Caesar might've been Erez who reincarnated too but he wasn't. So, now, all I'm left with is that weird feeling that Caesar fell in love with someone twice his age and Helena was self-conscious about him going through puberty when he was 16-18 years old. Fuck.

Crazily enough, I just pinned this to my "Want to Read" List yet I vaguely remember that I have already read this before. It's not on my Already Read list so wtf does that mean? Did I like it or not? Anyways, I don't feel like re-reading this anyways so I'm putting it here.

Cute dynamics but just mid overall.

It started off really good. I'm a sucker for the ML simping but then the out of the blue rushed ending was a ??? for me. Like, there's no indicator at all. You just get slapped by the ending chapter. Lots of plot that are left unexplained. Heck, IIRC, MC wasn't even sure yet about his feelings for ML but then suddenly he confirms it. Too bad.

It's okay. That's about it. I actually skimmed through this. It's like 50/50. I'm kinda hooked into it, at the same time I don't. But I did read it till the end and it's a good webtoon to pass the time.

Aight, here comes the bad side of the review... DOTD? It was good. I binged read it one night. I had fun reading it. BUT there were some elements that was just very icky for me that I couldn't consider it a whole masterpiece. Even THOUGH I have it in my Already Read list, I'm just trying to follow future updates. At the same time, I'm conflicted. Premise is good, except for the fact of immediately dubcon pn Chapter 2. And then the kicker, the backstory. It was super iffy.

I can see why a lot of people like this. Maybe it's my fault delving into this with high hopes due to my friends hyping this up but overall, it was mid. Maybe because it was during trad era? Not sure. All I know is that chapters 60-70 are somehow rushed. And I wish we dived into the development of Ahn's budding feelings more. There's also the amount of sex per chapter early on (But who am I to say that when I find Love Shuttle a masterpiece? lol)
