This is actually the first BL manga I read. It was really sweet, not the hardcore stuff. The epitome of pure shounen-ai with its realistic coming-of-age and self-discovery of homosexuality.
- cute and shy uke
- contains homophobia but ML is having none of that
This is a classic. I've been reading this so many times a long time ago. One of my favorite manga by Junko. I love the characters to bits especially Endou by how shy and cute he is!
I keep reading this manga because of Onoe. Onoe is the tsundere type, but he stands out than the other tsundere characters I've seen. He has a headstrong personality, he loves his job so much, and he's admirable for his determination for Kaburagi. I also love how he realized he fell in love with Kaburagi (He falls in love first, what a win!) Under that passionate work-addict facade, when it comes to Kaburagi, his loving side comes out and he'll do anything for him.
Besides the gorgeous art I've ever seen, another one that stands out in this manga is the poster. When I think of Canis, I always think of the advertising poster of Dante hats. I have no idea why but just like Satoru, it took my breath away looking at it. Especially how Satoru was also in the picture, putting the hat. It was a natural shot and I thought it was the best poster ever. (Now this is just weird, I'm only talking about posters.) Either way, this is such a beautiful story.
Jesus fucking Christ, I love the art so much. The average thief & police romance that is really cute than the others. Jimmy is such a fluffball under that bad-boy look, which is definitely a plus.
Have I ever told you that I love their gakuran? The author's art style gives off an old Japanese 80-90s manga with a modern take. The manga centers more of the comedy aspect of Nakamura-kun trying to be with his crush. It makes you laugh and root for Nakamura every chapter.
Business men romance? Nishida Higashi has it all for you! The author's style of manga stories oozes a mature feeling. It's mostly centered around adults, also realistically depicting the straight men to gay men parts. Though the art may be seen as something unattractive to others, it's still a unique style that when you see it, you'd immediately think it's the Nishida. Story-wise, their stories are all a masterpiece and I've had my picks of more than five so it
ML got me thinking of Ash Lynx a lot of times that's why I enjoyed this tremendously than I usually do. The art is impeccable and I love how they draw the hair so much. This was a very cute and nice read and I wish there was more.
