My five stars

Auras! It's fun to try to figure out what they mean along with the protagonist. It spices up an otherwise run-of-the-mill school life story.

I am actually laughing out loud as I read this. So good.

... until it started breaking my heart. Still so good.

Each of these four one-shots is interesting, different, and well-developed.
1. Two friends slowly realize that their fooling around together is more significant than they thought.
2. One childhood friend is openly gay, the other has always been struggling to follow the morality of their kindergarten teacher.
3. The prince of the rose kingdom has his wish granted to live with the human he loves for one season.
4. A young employee has to take care of the rich chairman's son.

An interesting premise, which is completely hidden until the last chapter. I rather like the way everything is built up and revealed in the end. Bears re-reading.

Really cute and genuine. No need for in-depth explanations. Remember to read left-to-right.

The men in Akihiko's family are all cursed to die young, so he travels back to his family's home to learn more about it. He meets a cousin who can see youkai and gets in touch with a relative from a past era. Together they try to resolve the curse before it's too late. A very memorable supernatural mystery.

A very short story that manages to convey a lot about two young Chinese brothers. Colorful and sweet. (Left-to-right)

Kio is a great picture of what it means to be both gentle and strong. I love that the author avoided pop concepts of angels and created a whole new cosmology for the story.

I believe "masterpiece" is not too strong a word.

A high-schooler who lives in a love hotel meets the director who comes to film an AV in one of their rooms. I really appreciated the way the story unfolded, and the characters are very likeable even though they are flawed people. The drama really got my heart pumping. (I've never read the prequel novel River's End, but I'd be curious to do so someday.)
