One of the commenters said "we break a lot of hearts including our own before we find happiness". In this story, it portrays a very idealistic soulmate-like first love. However it became unhealthy- Yachiyo still ridden with anxiety and repressing his emotions, while Touji also represses them in his own way and is oblivious to his own or others feelings. I like the inclusion of the 3rd guy because theres a lot of people and relationships that influence us irl.
