Just write them commuicating for fuck sake! The angst should just be their battle with thwir insecurities and not adding/takinf away the focus of their journeu through the insecurities by adding sudden useless miscomunication. Its even worse if it happens during/right after a nice fluffy bonding period. Like let them just have a good momment and let the challenge come after instead of redirec
