i don't think this is technically a josei/seinen, but it sure feels like one! the drama themes are so strong, and i kept up with this one regularly. it holds a very special place in my heart <3. these characters are so three-dimensional and real, and while it feels like they're in a never-ending loop of trauma, it does get better!!! it's always capable of getting better!!
my favorite of all time!!!! such a good representation of just someone's everyday life, and i love sport-based stuff, so this was extremely juicy. the background yuri is just the cherry on top!
ohhh the girls of all time. they are so very very very important to me. at the beginning you think that midori is such a bad person, but she's so!!!! i love how the narrative acknowledges that she's been a coward for a long time, but seeing her take those first steps towards living the life that she wants is so special.
a good beginning! the paneling is very good, and the art style is eye-catching. on top of that, i'm enjoying the case of the week format, and the way that characters are slowly being developed.
ohh save me fucked up lesbians. truly lynda is my favorite (controversial opinion), but all of these characters deserve a shoutout. the gothic horror yuri of my dreams.
extremely good romance, with an age gap that feels realistic! their relationship is very much a slowburn, but it's so good to see how these characters are slowly falling in love with each other.
kill your husband!!! kill him dead!!!! love this very much. we deserve more psychological drama yuri that isn't bc of abuse between the main leads or due to some insane age gap. love the fact that they never retract on the fact that killing jihye's husband was in fact the correct choice.
ok this one's a little iffy in the beginning, but with later volumes you can forget the sketchiness. interesting portrayal of adult relationships. i love old man fuckers so cheers to you ml.
again idk about the genre titling of this one, but i love realistic depictions of fantasy so this is a killer. plus a one-shot anthology!!! by ryoko kui no less!!! a hidden gem. i think the one about the demon king's castle is probably my favorite
wowie my loves. the one thing i really love about this manhwa is the potrayal of "i want to settle my own business without relying on you" as a selfish thing to do when you have a partner. the ml's issues were portrayed without any glamorization or like making it seem like he was the martyr? usually they act like it's a traumatic backstory and like we should forgive him for all of his mistakes bc of it, but they treat him like a person who fucks up! the ensemble cast really stood out as well.
