this is the story of a toxic relationship btw!! but tbh i quite enjoy the way the relationship was written. i like the way it explores the feelings you have when you are utterly alone and hit rock bottom.... you cling to anyone that is willing to show you kindness. and when you are in love you can end up accepting any sort of attention, even when it's not given out of love or care. it feels realistic, while not really condoning the characters actions.
this one is pretty good if you ignore the almost 20 year age gap between the characters.... i know its not that consequential but it sure bothered me. that said, it still has a very beautiful way of telling it's story, the art is good and the world in which the characters live is full and realistic. so yeah! just... close your eyes when you read their ages.... at least it's not illegal(?)
