my own reminder
I've learned through reading lots of mediocre stories that IF YOU CANNOT capture:
- the feeling & mood of the story
- readers being able to resonate a bit with the main character, or like them (redeemable)
- mc referring to their past experiences and or use what they've learned
- gain a good understanding of their goal or be curious of what's to come next
- continue an accurate depiction of characters and their journey
- reward readers 
that kind story won't be anywhere near 7/10
