all the semes combined would still fail to measure up to the genuine kindness of this gentleman's toe...
the only healthy trope in manga is where the popular guy is a kind, warm-hearted guy with a sunshine personality who stands up against jerk bullies. people like this are actually the kind who are popular irl, with everyone and their secret diaries crushing on them.
the gentle way the more experienced of the two treats the sexual insecurity and jealousy of their partner is so nice....
dude is caught up in a fantasy but even then, he's such a green flag when it comes to respecting boundaries. No name calling, no controlling behaviour and judgement when it comes to their romantic interest sleeping around with other guys.. he's always a gentleman, kind and considerate
The story is sweet. Rare to see a critique of the hot, rich guy trope but this manhwa explores it maturely, sensitively. It returns agency to the uke. Instead of gushing over how he's being bought expensive things, being catered to, it becomes about is the seme worthy as he's trying to buy my love? It's exposed as the clear manipulation and coercion that it is.
The other trope is that only a good guy can save me, after the bad guy has ruined me, and that's not great either.
The gentleness, the consideration, the emotional and social intelligence.......a male lead who is actually emotionally sensitive?????? I hope this isn't ruined going forward pls..
Some of the themes here are trash and so morally repulsive, why is a fifteen year old sleeping around with adults???? Added only for the way the seme is a gentleman, even when the uke and his sister are being immature ...
Kurosawa's kindness and excitement for just the most normal things is what we live for...
