masterclass in nuanced character writing and realism. i like the way that the characters do change and get changed by one another but it isn’t all at once, and they don’t lose who they are to be better. no one is truly good or bad. chizu is a character and not just a plot device, which i appreciate a lot.
the messy and confusing dynamic between the two leads really has piqued my interest!
