10/10. The icon, the blueprint. The prototype of the kind of story I love. No regression/time hopping. PEAK family regret, no forgiveness (other than little sister).
Summ: FL is mistreated by her family/fiance/society for being an illegitimate child. She is used by everyone (her family uses her as a stand-in for her sister, fiance dumps his duties on her, etc). When she finally has enough, she meets the ML who encourages her to love herself and live for herself instead of for others' love
8/10 so far. Writing is decent if a bit cliche, serious tone.
Summ: MC is the illegitimate child of a powerful family who spends her life trying to receive love. She is ultimately killed/sacrificed to the imprisoned demon which gives her family their powers - a demon which then sends her back in time so long as she helps free him. Revenge-focused, full neglect, redemption for family members other than the little brother seems unlikely. Romance is minimal, but there is a ML. Some found family.
7/10. Writing is weak, common sense is lacking in some characters, tone is more lighthearted. Cute but lacking substance.
Summ: Daughter of Duke is neglected by her sick father in her first life and ultimately dies at the hands of the emperor as part of a power play. She regresses, decides to save her father in order to save the dukedom/her life, and realizes her father actually loved her all along. No siblings, no revenge, very light neglect/father was sort of well-intentioned.
4/10. Plain, forgettable FL and side characters have zero depth. Story is lacking, art is mid.
Summ: Daughter of prestigious family is born powerless and is treated horribly because of it. For plot reasons, she's actually the strongest in the family. Regression, there's a bit of oddness with the FL's twin brother. The regret is minimal/almost forgotten, though two of FL's brothers show it briefly. Father is irredeemable. ML and his family are one-dimensional heroes.
9/10. Strong writing. MC has a realistic thought process & truly reflects on her past actions, though frustrating a bit as MC is still a child at chapter 120. Minimal romance.
MC is a morally grey sorcerer who is killed in her first life and isekais into a noble (dead) baby's body (baby was starved to death out of neglect for being a bastard). MC is pragmatic and knows the family needs to recognize her for her to survive. Love eventually grows, and the regret of the prior treatment i
8/10. Interesting plot writing. MC feels a little flat times, but tbf could be trauma. Romance there but not rly interesting. Father regrets, but forgiveness seems tenuous.
Summ: MC is an angry child who feels neglected by her emperor father. She comes across a book one day and she reads her future - wherein her father will find out she was swapped at birth with his "real" daughter and executes her for it. FL changes her personality out of fear, and works to endear herself to survive
7/10. Prime neglect/regret, though frustrating MC. ML needed more of a personality, but otherwise decent read.
Summ: FL was born to a large family, and was the overly neglected middle daughter. She has a sick sister who received most of, if not all, the love. FL's magical powers are killing her, so she leaves her family to finally be happy - and heads north to her stranger of a fiance's home in the north. Family regrets heavily, very much good soup. She never forgives them!
4/10. Bad writing, full of holes, author seems to forget the entire "reborn" setup themselves, only really reading for the conclusion. Family regrets, but it's cartoonish. Reads like a very bad shoujo, like a low-rent Hana Yori Dango.
Summ: MC is reborn into a side-character's body after dying from cancer. She immediately leaves her family as she knows they treat her horribly, and moves into the dorms. She has to gather "luck" to survive, and decides to "mooc
Make Sure You Regret It
