Absolutely one of my favourite of all time. All characters are beautifully written and have a complexity between understanding themselves as young people and how religion and life experience plays a role in their decisions. 10/10 so good.

I like this representation of a character with suicidal tendencies and a character who has gone through a life filled with domestic abuse. It's sad how he thinks the abuse is not there with his friend just because it's not as bad as with his father :(
