Actor Fujinaga (a sophomore in college) loves acting. But he has been failing auditions so often that he has lost confidence. It was then that he met Keito (a first-year college student) with congenital hearing loss.
Despite this being Fujinaga's first experience with sign language, he was able to read the hand movements at a glance because he had been acting with more of a desire to "convey" the message than anyone else. He eventually decides to try sign language with gestures, which surprises Kate with his talent to see how Fujinaga expresses his emotions.
