yaoi, but with critical analysis

literally so good wtf. the atmosphere...the chemistry between the characters.....

a contender for the best bl manhwa/manga/manhua ever (in my opinion)?? a painfully accurate depiction of the ways in which sexualization and parental neglect/abuse in childhood manifest during adulthood - and how it inteferes with the relationships to the people closest to us. obviously i need to see where the story goes etc etc, but i'm obsessed.

update: ok not sure about the ending, but since there are side stories i can’t provide a conclusive opinion Yet

ugh i love this one so much, the art is so beautiful and sanguine. i love the way the author depicts intimacy, i don’t think any manhwa/manhua/manga can compare in that regard.

my only critique are the unrealistic body proportions (well, only ian) :(. otherwise it would be perfect - that is, ignoring the author's whole "he's not really gay, he actually heterosexual but he likes one singular man " nonsense.

i have many (negative) opinions on greek mythology retellings, but, i'm also aware this is obviously a horny and facetious manhwa that doesn't take its subject matter seriously. however, i think the choice to add SA to this story, and the reactions in the comments, is interesting.

in ovid's metamorphoses, sexual violence (against women), is not there gratuitously - rather, pain is the catalysis for transformation. so i wonder, what purpose does sexual violence serve here?
