F - 5 Star Mangas

• It's a complete manhwa with 11 chapters, so it's short and a quick read. It's a fine manhwa, but that's about it. I will definitely forget about it as quickly as I read it.
• Hae-soo confesses to his crush Jin countless times, yet gets rejected every single time. So, after what seems like the hundredth rejection, Hae-soo decides to give up and goes back to his nerdy self, and that's when suddenly Jin becomes interested in him.

• It's a short smut about friends who, after a drunken night of sex, decide to date.
• I didn't dislike it, but I didn't like it either. There's nothing remarkable about the manhwa, but that's to be expected considering that it's only 7 chapters.

I might be reading the manhwa wrong, but the timeline seems all over the place; it takes a ridiculous amount of time for everything, and certain things just don’t make sense. It’s not the worst manhwa I’ve read, but I wouldn’t say that it’s good either.

At first the manga was good and refreshing, but after chapter 60 and Arianell saved everyone, it got dull and nonsensical. There was no need to suddenly introduce the real Arianell over 60 chapters into the story, no need to make Arianell a saintess, and there was no need to suddenly introduce a new antagonist/villain and more love rivals. To me it almost felt as if they wanted to simply add more unnecessary drama to extend the manga instead of focusing on what was already going on.

• Despite this manga being about a pharmacist, it focuses more on cooking and Rin’s adventures. It also doesn’t bring me any satisfaction to watch Rin overcome difficulties; that’s because she doesn’t struggle with anything and resolves everything with ease. It feels as if she was given too big of a cheat.
• The English translation has only 31 chapters, but the Japanese translation is at 41 chapters and is currently ongoing.

I wouldn’t say that the manhwa was bad, but I also wouldn’t say that it’s good. Were there good moments in this manhwa, which I enjoyed a lot? Yes. But there were also moments that made me sigh and roll my eyes in annoyance. There are quite a few things in the story that feel drawn out, but what bothered me the most was Rose, the villainess who kept coming back, kept attempting to kill Ripley, and kept getting away with it without any consequences.

• It's not really a one-shot, as it's one of the original drawings of a Pixiv artist: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/11283361/artworks?p=1. They have made a few drawings with this female character being paired with a few guys and another girl being paired with a few different guys.

Personally, I don’t like how the story is focused mostly on past lives. Yuuki says that he wants to live a peaceful life, unlike his life as Dean, but he does the opposite and constantly reveals his true strength; hell, he even tells his brother straight up about his past life. It would have been nice if his romantic interest was someone completely unrelated to his past, though it also would have been good if there was no romantic interest.

I didn't like it, but I also didn't hate it. I feel like this type of concept would do better if the manhwa was longer instead of being just 9 chapters long.
