GLOBAL DEATH: it's the apocalypse. everyone dies. it's a plot point at the end that our seme and uke are literally the only people left alive on the earth
DID YOU READ IT?: yes, and it is a TOUGH one to get through. very existential, very sad if u think about it for too long. main characters don't die so it's not as difficult to read as it could be, but it's still hard.
MINOR/SIDE CHARACTER DEATH: uke is dealing with the death of his best friend/unrequited love
NOT YAOI but it still needs to be put on this list bc i'm still crying over it. levi ackerman's backstory (attack on titan). really fucking sad
