classic. i remember loving this when i first read it -- but that was like, six years ago so i'm not sure if it would still hold up today. story gets a lil wacky towards the end but overall a good read.

plot is borderline incomprehensible at times and has some very questionable age gaps between some of the side characters (iykyk). it's campy and melodramatic and dumb but god damn i would be lying if i said this wasn't my favorite vampire bl of all time.

i'm conflicted on this one. it's silly and bad in a good way. you kinda have to turn your brain off to enjoy it.
i cannot, however, take mermaids seriously or find them sexy in any way. like. that's just a fish.
reminds me of Zombies (that fuckass disney movie) where they just keep adding random mythological creatures with every sequel until nothing makes sense anymore
was a bit hard for me to get through, but i can see why some people might like it.

smut-oriented.
has that 'getting bitten by a vampire is an aphrodisiac' trope that I'm not a fan of, ugh.
overall okay. art + character designs are really nice!

smutty, very very very cliché plot and bizarre omegaverse-esque vampire breeding(?) mechanics. i don't even remember the specifics lol. i blacked out and the next thing i knew it was over. just my brain trying to protect itself from the damage i suppose.

i enjoyed this a lot more than some of my previous reads on this list, although i'm def biased bc problematic sadomasochistic vampire yaoi with incest(sort of?) subtext is totally my thing.
quick and easy read, but def not for everyone.
