brokeback mountain if it was kind of horror and the conflict wasn't society but The Other. i enjoyed the art a lot as well as the rapid progression. i think its brevity suited the story. dennis takes a job watching sheep for three months, and the only cure to his boredom is todd, who arrives in the middle of the night claiming he's not not there to hurt anyone. he's a friend.
