This is possibly the Zaria story I've been waiting for, combining a gripping and original plot with emotional depth, all wrapped up in her superlative, unequaled erotic art. No one comes close to the hotness Zaria provides. Depending on where this story goes, this one could rocket into my top ten.
Sweet, slow, adorable.
Bear with the somewhat scattered opening chapter because there's a delicate story of two wounded souls coming together against the symbolism of flowers, gardens, the great pain and loss of war, and addiction. Gorgeous art.
I don't know what it is about this artist's works. They're not for everyone but they're very "sink-in-able." You know, rainy day, cup of tea, curl up on the sofa kind of reading. Characters you recognize, people you know. Like friends you may sometimes want to slap but you want the best for in the end.
Lonely tailor falls for bright young designer. Sweet and sexy with Scarlet Beriko's usual trick of flipping expectations, her gorgeous art, and her sneaky, clever little touches of brilliance in unexpected places. Pay special attention to the little plush rabbit.
Another surprise. Ex-con working at "doll" factory falls in love with an experimental model. The surprise is how freaking SWEET this story is. Sadly overlooked. Give it a try!
Oh Bun. I want to hug you and smack you upside the head at the same time. But I've known people like you, Bun, and that's why I love your story, in spite of what a lunkhead you can be.
This is a novel, not a manga, but give it a try. The prose in the English translation is sometimes clunky and there's A LOT of info dumping and backstory in volumes one and two that you have to wade through. But underneath all of that is a compelling story of a combative romance between the two main characters, who are irresistibly drawn to each other. And damn, Munechika is hot, hot, hot.
