Why is it that when going through the action genre, every single protagonist on the cover is a guy... I can even look at some of the covers with a woman at the center and KNOW that there is a male POV...
There will be some stories that I include that have male protagonists but the women are treated as actual characters that influence the plot.

Literally, as someone who loves non romance and action, ANDD hv lists dedicated to em, its usually always a guy. I feel like it def stems from the patriarchal view that a man can focus on his own aspirations/ what he lost but a woman needs romance to be 'fulfilled' even if she is vengeful. Absolute bollocks
