Why is it that when going through the action genre, every single protagonist on the cover is a guy... I can even look at some of the covers with a woman at the center and KNOW that there is a male POV...
There will be some stories that I include that have male protagonists but the women are treated as actual characters that influence the plot.
Don't be fooled by this cover, there's a way better one of her just smiling that really gives hope towards resiliency. Be in a good head space for the realism of this one.

Literally, as someone who loves non romance and action, ANDD hv lists dedicated to em, its usually always a guy. I feel like it def stems from the patriarchal view that a man can focus on his own aspirations/ what he lost but a woman needs romance to be 'fulfilled' even if she is vengeful. Absolute bollocks
