(How I feel) He had a gf before. Even worse: their relationship only ended because she died. They'd probably been together still if she hadn't. He seemed to have genuinely loved her. If he did, I hate that he ended up with the FL/fell for her. In this Manga ("their world") he's obviously supposed to be with/love the FL, in which case, he shouldn't have been with someone before.
He slept with some other girl(s) before, but Idk if he liked them. I don't think he dated them or someone else, though. That makes me slightly less uncomfortable if that's the case. I love the art style, so it sucks that this shit happened. I don't think they show it, even in flashbacks, though.
