Teachers in a preschool, one who is overtly active, the other adverse at first, but eventually works himself into reciprocation.
First couple are both ... yeah. Neither communicate properly and the uke is quick to sulk and hide at his best friend's house. (Come on, sound off like you got a pair!)
Second couple are better, strong and sure of themselves, coming to like each other through friendship. (Though it is a bit on the speedy side.)
How to woo a stubborn monk/priest? Through persistence and embarrassment. Keep at him, make him blush enough, and of course he'll be yours. It was funny and cute in it's own way.
An airheaded kid. Airhead's elder brother with a younger brother complex. The elder brother's best friend who has a possessive streak for Airhead. Airhead's best friend, who also has romantic inclinations. And finally a stranger who just returns from foreign lands makes a move on Airhead. PLUS all the ins, outs, ups and downs of archery. Cliche'? Definitely. Still kinda cute. Sure. Plots may be well used, but the delivery can change, and that makes each story worth perusal.
A plot that has been done to death and back... Childhood friends, one's now a cop, the other a criminal. The struggles of love when both partners have careers where they walk the thin line between life and death. It's the art that is really striking, so lovely.
Right, this had some hilarious moments... Boy is a looker, but that's about it, girl is physically strong, but less so both mentally and emotionally... Some of the secondary characters and their interactions with the mains are interesting. Over all, it was cute and funny.
When best friends becomes something more, though one is darkly scheming and the other rather oblivious. Eventually, the machinations come to fruition and the oblivious one embraces his new self with impressive possessiveness. Though the plot is familiar, this was a good read.
Different. A group who guides wayward souls to the afterlife, employing live mediums as part-timers. They go through at lot, you learn some about the characters, save the dead 'boss'. There are sweet moments, but most are just humorous.
Special investigation unit employing psychics. Heroine handles her work and most aspects of her circumstance with resolution, though idiotic in terms of intimate relationships; however, this is to be expected as she was raised in an institution where people held her at a distance because of her 'power'. It's an interesting concept, and not a bad read, but the heroine can grate on the nerves. The hero is stoic, levelheaded, and likes to tease her idiocy.
Rambunctious kid is forced into the tea ceremony club by his sister in an effort to teach him manners and restraint, it is there he meets the king of the club, who is determined to have him- teach! Teach him.
