This was ... odd. An older man meets a high school student whose parents run a B&B by the seaside. They become sort of friends, then an expression of true feelings and then hiatus as the kid is underage. While these would-be lovers hope to work out their relationship, the younger kid's best friend has something of a mental meltdown and goes all weird. It's cute, but odd.
An older, world weary photographer and a young high school student on the verge of graduating. It starts out as an odd friendship, then develops, (haha, photographer - develops) into something more that the pair sort of struggle through, but there's not an overload of drama and trauma. Cute.
A company president and a window cleaner. Their interactions are cute as they both struggle with the idea of homosexuality and/or love in general, but as sweet as the main characters are, watch the secretary, she's so funny and endearing.
Omegaverse. As a high school student the alpha struggled with his gender and was counseled by the school's therapist (a beta), whom the alpha fell in love with. When he confessed his feelings, he was rejected, learning later his emotions may have been erotic transference, and he struggled through that while at university. Now he's a novice teacher, his old therapist is working at his new school and the battle for love begins anew. Cute, with no rape or mistreatment.
Well, this is another one of those 'mistreatment of the uke for purely selfish reasons' stories. Seme is hung up on his first love, sleeps around, finds a replacement then acts the ass while the uke is forced to play the adult. There is very little in the way of retribution from the uke, but there is some as the seme gets treated like shit by a group of his bar friends. It's not great, but still cute in a way.
High school kids wading and working through some of the idiocy that takes up a lot of room in the mental faculties of homo sapiens sapiens. Is it okay to be me? Is it okay to be part of a same sex couple? Can I survive the bullying? This type of thing; it's been done before, but this is sweet in its own way.
Well, I personally don't understand how one can grow into adulthood and not know in what direction your passion lies, but everyone is different, and so it is with this story. A man marriage meeting hopping ends up targeted by another man who knows what he wants and he's going to get it, but not in a maniacal way. It's not a bad story, just another telling of the many 'surprise! you're actually homosexual!' tales.
Naive college student gets cornered into working for a toy shop, then gets cornered again into sampling the merchandise. Stupid kid meets manipulative adult. 'Youth and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery' as one of my t-shirts says. Story is cute-ish in its own way.
Omegaverse. Abandoned by his only parent, the omega ends up selling himself in order to earn enough to skip town. Before he can leave, he meets and befriends a newcomer to the area and falls in love. New guy is a beta and curious about the gossip and hate over the poor omega. Cute in a way, but rather cliche.
A pushy transvestite and the target of his affection. When a underachieving architect meets the designer he has always been fascinated by, he gets more than he bargained for. He isn't a victim, but he must question himself; did he fall for the structural design or the architect? Are those emotions of 'like' mutually exclusive or a package deal? It's cute in its own way.
