right off the bat it was super intriguing
the plot itself is well written and doesn't drag out, which is like wow
the mc is smart, nice asf, but she's been through some shit
the male lead is kinda socially stupid but he respects women so i aint seen nothin
also why does every male lead have black hair and hazel eyes rn?
not that I'm complaining but these authors manage to find something new and then milk it till its dry

like yea its cliche but there are a couple of unique aspects to it and it pretty ACCURATELY deals with the mental disorders it talks about (like its not gonna be 100% accurate but at least it doesnt romanticize abuse/body dysmorphia)

the male lead isnt an fboi and is really nice, he looks out for the mc and itsnt a dense ass bitch (if tamaki from ouran hshc had an ounce of his deduction skills him and haruhi would have gotten together at the end of season 1)
