This manga is absolute art, exploring what it is like to grow up as a woman in a historical period where women have very little power. It confronts social issues without rose-tinted glasses or the assumption that the FL can overcome all prejudices or her circumstances. Despite the jaded/disillusioned view on life it presents at times, it is an absolute joy and a delight to read - both funny and compelling

Female protagonist: high school student heiress to a yakuza engaged to an ml with more than a few issues. She is not unaware of his fucked up-ness and is active in pursuing her own goals and protecting herself. The greatest lead ever!

Isekai into a midieval world, but y’know sexism is a thing and it turns out the fantasy ain’t quite so nice. FL winds up becoming a hooker. Cool concept, but what really makes it is the execution. Kudos writer. Makes a “slut” character who wasn’t the best in school, but the reader still respects her intelligence especially in navigating dangerous social situations where she truly has very little power. You feel righteously, yet helplessly angry. resilient, vulnerabl
AAAHHH FUCK ME THIS IS SO COOOL! I was drawn in by the baller art, but hot diggity damnnnn- the world building and the character writing! Female lead such an understated badass, but then there are these moments where the world seems to stand still from her physical strength, and strength of character. Such a cool use of sci fi! Sole survivors of a world ending catastrophe. Nuanced exploration of gender, intersex, and loss- but that’s not all it’s about. It’s a glorious ride eve
This character is technically intersex - born neither male nor female. They are such a spooky, charismatic, bloodthirsty demon of a character who has braved hardship and is fiercely loyal to their family. A thread of romance and gender confusion is woven expertly through the lager political turmoil and medieval drama of the world.
Really, really cool art and an engaging plot that is inspired by a Shakespearean play.
10/10 would reccomend
This might be my favorite female lead of all time. So not-caught-up in pettiness, so self-examining, so level headed. Writing is raw and vulnerable, and really captures the ever-shifting complexities of family, relationships, mental health and growing up. Top notch writing
This manhua turned me gay and prompted me to join the basketball team in high school. It’s incredibly funny and adorable and you fall in love with all of the characters in it. I have such a huge crush on the tall girl in this one (•_•)

A little girl in a supernatural family finds some shoes that allow her to turn into an adult when she puts them on and chaos, romance, and magical adventures ensue. A truly beautiful story about growing up
But also… epic battles…. and bugs??? Gets some good supernatural yokai fighting vibes partway through, very fun

This is literally the funniest shit ever! The FL is an office worker in a company that is filled solely with gay couples and nobody but her gets any work done. She is such a powerfully EXASPERATED badass and the story is satisfying.

Wow. I loooooove this author. She writes very real feeling characters and situations, full of sadness, akwardness and hope. Middle school girl A is about the life of a very introverted tween with a poor home life, struggling to make connections in the world. You WILL care about and relate to her a lot, and it is a very cute style despite the underlying darkness of her situation. Author of “The Kids Are All Right”
10/10 realness, compassion
