Manga BL that makes me warm inside

bruhhh this is so cute it HURTS. i want to hold these two together and smush their cheeks. it’s slice of life and these two are already dating. and they’re ROOMATES. in UNI. this is just. the cutest thing i’ve read today and will reread when i’m sad and lonely. though i’m pretty sure i’ll be lonelier seeing two people in love.

i don’t know why this is a 9.0? deserves higher for sure. the characters are really cute. it’s like a delinquent X popular boy story. it’s very heartwarming and they’re so in love. i didn’t like the delinquency subplot that was going on, but that’s just my personal taste. i really loved this.

you know what? this had much potential. the only problem is how short it was. because of this, the relationship between the two seems very rushed... but it has the model x ordinary guy trope. it could’ve been so good!!! WHY IS IT SO SHORT?? the relationship between the two hasn’t been delved in AT ALL. i’m disappointed, but this was so cute. i’m just upset now.

HIGH SCHOOL ROMANCE INCOMING!! a very pretty short boy wants to be manly and goes to the coolest guy in school (according to him, anyway) and turns out.... the cool guy has a crush on him?! it’s cute and fluffy and it’s not got that weird homophobic element most BLs have- which is so refreshing.

bruh this was so cute.... it actually made me feel something. it’s got the delinquent x good student thing... but it didn’t have unnecessary relationship drama. they both have a very comfortable relationship and didn’t have the whole love triangle/homophobic subplot about how someone’s “straight“ and absolutely cannot be in love with a guy. it was very natural and both characters brought out the best in each other.

if i had to describe this in two words, it’ll be: i cried. maybe i’m PMSing but this made me sob. they’re both so, SO cute. this doesn’t beat around the bush with clueless main characters and stupid love interests who won’t confess their feelings. both are smart and realise their dynamic. it’s also devoid of the weird homophobia subplot and the characters are childhood friends. they both find comfort in each other and are roomies.

this mangaka’s art style HITS DIFFERENT!! it’s so pretty. every character has a beautiful character design. this manga’s plot isn’t too strong or anything special. it’s the same ‘childhood best friends’ kinda thing and it’s very predictable. i'm not getting into the internalised homophobia & jealousy to the point of not allowing friends bit..... but, it IS fluffy.

a word of caution: this ISN’T shounen ai. it’s most definitely yaoi. that being said, the dude can read minds.
this is one heck of a story. it’s got a boob loving fiend and a psychic. an unlikely pairing, one may even say. but it’s actually really cute. it’s shorter than most manga. this mangaka is very famous for their fluff and plot and this shows that off as well.

i’ve to say this: i kept putting this off for the longest time. i really shouldn’t have. this is slow burn. by that i mean like... S L O W burn. it’s so cute and SHOWBIZ!! the pov switches between the two love interests: the idol and manager. it’s so cute and my heart genuinely skipped a beat when they kissed for the first time. slow burn really leaves you wanting more. this is so, so good.

this is frustrating. the premise and plot are... exquisite. it’s got an angel x demon trope and it’s forbidden and all that jazz. but there’s a lot that’s not being revealed for no goddamn reason. like... just spit it out will ya? for some reason there’s like zero communication between the characters for important things. but honestly i love everything else. i’m just frustrated about the secrets bit.
