Male BL Mangaka/Author/Artist

Male artist.
Okushima Hiromasa mainly doing shounen stuff. Its only recently that he goes into BL. This is his first BL work. he did like many more BL work afterwards. there's one 'Kateikyoshi no Kishi Knight desu'. and most recent, which currently has 6 volumes (!!! shocking) is also available in english translation. That one is his original work.

I feel like so far, Nagabe sensei is the most well known male mangaka in BL community. And I guess most open aswell, because he showed his face. Most mangaka (usually in BL community) make themself very secrective..Even their gender is unknown but we usually assume they're female mangaka based on statistics anyway. Its super rare for a guy to do BL, obviously I'm curious what made him interested to do BL. I wonder if there's any interview. He did other genre too.

I can't confirm, but this was tagged with somewhere along the line that this is male author.
Edit: okay it is confirmed the artist is male. The end chapters has an afterword where the artist mentioning it himself.

The author is LGBT+ irl. He has a personal blog where he occasionally post about his experience being lgbt minority in South Korea. I don't remember the link anymore, its long ago where I found it.

The author name is Mawei. I cannot confirm the legitimacy of this information. Only that on their weibo it state that its a guy. No photo of the author. Author did do meet and greet for their most popular series "The Wolf Who Picked Up", so only those who attend meet and greet can confirm. Though i have a feeling they're not a guy. (I'm mostly bias with the fact this author draw bishounen just like any other female artists,thus my judgement).

okay, this is 100% just my assumption. I think there's a possibility the mangaka is a guy. They said, on the very beginning, they like beard or something but can't grow any in real life. This can be interpreted 2 ways. whether mangaka is a female or a male who lack of facial hair (yes most asian can't grow beard).But hey, I might be 100% wrong and the mangaka probably a female.
