Not all of them perfectly fit in this theme, but I really loved the second one, page 129. The main character is actually a teenage girl who has a very close relationship with her uncle, so much that she actually have a secret crush on him (but doesn't want to go through with it). His family knows that he is gay (and they support him), but her niece soon realizes that he hasn't always been so accepting of his homosexuality and has even had some love issues of his own...

Another Yamashita Tomoko. The first story is amazing. It's a pretty real picture of what it can mean to be gay in a small town, and of course the hardships that come with it.
(However I am REALLY on edge when it comes to the portrayals of rape, and the last story is seriously borderline)

I love Hideyoshico and I don't know how I did not come across this oneshot compilation until now. The main story is really good, but my favorite story, which is also the one that fits this theme perfectly, is chapter 2 "The Komukai Household's Circumstances", about a young boy coming to terms with having 2 dads.

Nice and different read, with an interesting twist on gender identity.

Everybody has read this one already, and it's on topic pretty much only in the few first chapters, but it's a fun read so...

Okay so this clearly isn't the best yaoi we can find out there (hey hey ! Please just put the knives down...), simply because I'm not really into the whole teasing thing, or the "I'm older so I'm superior" kind of characters, but this story really tries to convey the issues of being gay, young and alone with that secret.

This first story has such a beautiful melancholic vibe. It can be interpreted in various ways, but we can see in my opinion in the conflicting feelings of the two main characters the uncertainty of who they are, who they want to be, and who they want to be with, exploring these questions through sexuality.

Pretty funny and sarcastic takes on famous tales.
I hate the original story of Cinderella, but seeing here a gay prince going to masquerade parties and falling in love with an S in leather panties and high heels was somehow really entertaining.

Great sci-fi story. There's not much new for the genre but it is done in a very smart way in my opinion.
The back ground of the main character and his lover's, even if pretty short, was really good, and makes this manga deserve its place in this list. Great read.
