4/5 -- it's simple yet well-executed and all the more vibrant because of it
4.5/5 -- this is the cutest fuckin thing ive ever seen. -- a story about an alpha wolf and the puppy that becomes attached to him -- i think i prefer the animal ver just cus the puppy is so floofy, but i love the wolf's human design and expressions
4/5 -- wholesome! -- not romance, just a slice of life about two kindred spirits becoming each other's strengths -- lovely character development all around and a very sensitive take on family/found family, trauma, and the many ways a domestic setting can be really somewhat painful, and yet how broken bonds can also be mended if both sides could just look at each other
3.5/5 -- tw: period-typical violence, rape, underage prostitution, internalized homophobia, etc. -- all in all, a heartwarming story with great moments of introspection and character development, subtle at points and somewhat tragic but reads like a winter poem
4/5 -- psychological, childhood ptsd -- learning to love while learning to feel
4/5 - slice of life, owner and pet — a dog that speaks human language teaching an aloof pharmacist about human connection
4/5 - everything this author does is so well-written and thoughtfully considered. you can tell each piece has the intention of spreading comfort and the little joys that can make tomorrow something to look forward to, looking for magic in the mundane, and love in close places — everything by this author is a fave
hype af.
4/5 -- shounen-style BL -- really unique and a well-told story -- high school yankee x older yankee (with a complicated backstory) -- kanzaki is filipino, which is a first in BL that i've seen -- overall, it's pretty cute, can't wait for the last volume
