character designnnnn -- their god forms are just stunning
looks like chinese pixiv artists' style if yknow what i mean.
i love the paneling and the pacing in this! the aspect to aspect moments on practically every other page make the story feel so settled in real life
looove the color palettes in this! super simple but bring a lot of charm to the atmosphere. it shows that a little goes a long way. helps that the story is adorable too
the style--both character design and fashion-wise--clean af.
gusari's already on here, but... sensei's action lines.... ~immaculate~ not all non-shounen artists got that
page compositions are a bit claustrophobic sometimes, but the style is undeniably pretty
we were all stunned when we saw claude it's fact -- it was so big brain of them to design him in a toga, makes him stand out from the other historical fantasy shoujos
some of the compositions of the paintings/narratives are really nice -- figures can be stiff but it's good for the mainstream shoujo style
PWP but gosh they sure are pretty

Wow love your commentary–some of them are spot on. Are we the same age? bcs Pandora Hearts also had me on chokehold in middle school haha. Around 2012-2013 I learned about webtoons (Annarasumanara, Nowhere Boy, Girls of the Wild) and love the artstyle as well.
it sounds like we might be haha. those are some great webtoons!! i know i’m missing a lot of stuff on this list since i started it so late in my reading journey. thanks for the reminder~
