the storytelling frames are nice + overall character designs + details in background compositions -- only thing is i wish they'd style their hair more accurately…..

rather than the style, the concept is really unique -- just... giant bdsm murder buddhas... ngl id draw that. sans the ball gags tho LOL.

just the sheer variety of character designs and settings is consistently impressive, no significant character looks similar to each other and thats a crazy feat 23 years in

i love that every hero costume is logistically thought out and not only "for the aesthetic" -- hori is great at imbuing metaphors and solid reasoning behind his character designs -- i also love the anatomy/proportions and how each body shape applies to the user's quirk

i just love the cultural objects + traditional/modern fusion

not ''to die for'' really, but reading this again, the atmosphere, supple anatomy style, historical setting, storytelling, etc. makes the overall art feel simply pleasant to read/take in

shoujo action with great rendering and action lines? cool.

the sketchy texture, heavy line weight, multiple shades, overall anatomy and proportions.... nice. reminds me of popular 2012-era styles like togainu no chi and gangsta
