Coco is born into a world where it’s said that only special people can use magic. However, after a magician visits her town, Coco starts to uncover the true nature of magic as a mysterious organization called the brim hats draws closer.
This story has a very interesting magic premise and a very magical atmosphere. The characters are developed and likable. 8.5/10 (Subject to change)
Oz Vessalius, heir to one of the great dukedoms, gets inexplicably dropped into the abyss, a prison like dimension, during his coming of age ceremony. There, he meets a mysterious chain named Alice that begins the start of the journey in unraveling the truth behind his “sin.”
I have cried so many tears for this manga. The characters, interesting world loosely based off of Alice in Wonderland, and the plot, while starting slow, twists and turns at every street are all perfect. 10/10
The god blessed the land with spirits that bring fortune and fertility to the lands they inhabit. However, even spirits aren’t immortal and once they die, they’re bodies are enveloped in darkness. The only people that can peacefully send them off are known as ‘soul senders.’
This manga has a fairly interesting and unique “magic” system and likable characters. 7.5/10 (Subject to change)
People known as graineliers, eat seeds to gain various powers but at what cost?
The basic concept of seed magic is vastly improved by the drawbacks of using it and the politics surrounding Graineliers. Very beautiful art but horrendously short chapters. Plot is a little clunky as it feels like you forget everything with every new chapters. 7/10 (Subject to change)
