31st night ~ The BL cliché you hate the most
Seme rapes uke: "But... but! He's has such a dark and twisted past! I did so many bad things to him (which of course, he didn't)! It's okay, my love can heal him. I love him, even after he did that!" NO! Call the cops, send him to a psychiatrist! You don't love him, dear, that's the Stockholm talking. BAH! (Let me know any better examples, this one quite doesn't fit lol)
32nd night ~ The best BL manga in its subgenre
I got between Choco Straberry Vanilla and Udagawachou, but I'll pick Udagawachou because there are more crossdressing yaois out there. But because this one is so soft, well measured in angst and has such loveable characters, their discovery makes this one, for me, the best crossdresser yaoi.
1st Day ~ A BL manga you love to the core
I wish I could put Saezuru again, but Doushitemo Furetakunai doesn't stray far from things I love to the core. It's heartfelt, realistic, singular... slow paced? Yup. But not a problem. Shima is so insecure he'll melt your heart. :)
2nd Day ~ Your favorite BL author from this decade
I had some pretty hard choices to make with Ogeretsu Tanaka, Harada, Ichikawai Kei all releasing most of their work after 2010... well, the one that pleases me the most is Scaberi: great art, decent and consistent plots and the most adorbs puppy eyed semes x3
3rd Day ~ The best BL manga you read recently
I skipped Smells Like Green Spirit for a long time because the cover just didn't cut for me (yes, that prejudiced lol). Oh, boy, do I regret it. Starts off as a cheesy comedy but quickly grasps onto reality straws. It's beautifully done without being overdramatic. Very good indeed!
4th Day ~ The worst BL manga you read recently
Mine might be an unpopular opinion, 'cuz a manga doesn't get an 8 average for being bad, but I just didn't enjoy it. The drama was over the top, the storytelling a bit messy, the characters' romance didn't feel believable, didn't like their personalities either. It was all very Romeo and Juliet. But then again, I don't really like Romeo and Juliet either.
5th Day ~ Your favorite multi-genre BL
I've got a taste for Sports manga, so, when a BL can do both the sports part and the BL part pretty well, I've got to give it kuddos. 10 Dance is a slow-burn sports manga with a slight tint of BL, but it doesn't disappoint in either aspect.
6th Day ~ A BL manga you wish you could finish reading
I'm quite obssessed with old times mangas, because you get to see the historical aspects that formed so many tropes in the genre. Problem is... those manga are long, man, and Eroica, just like Patalliro, is all over the place. But they are such a fun read. I thread it casually and wonder if I'll ever have the guts to get past the 30 volumes.
