Good yaoi WITH PLOT

Omegaverse, where for once the two MCs are roughly of equal strength and capability. I like how the relationships around the omega are handled, and how they don’t seek to belittle the omega as so many stories seem to.

Very similar to this author’s other work, but I must say I like Junjou better? Still, this is cute too - about a new manga editor and someone from his past, whom he can’t seem to remember. You get to see a bit about how manga are edited along with some slice-of-life story and plot, too.

Between a cameraman and the person who hires him to film....interesting interactions between the MC and a select few around him - it’s a very....quiet depth, and quite subtle to read, but ultimately cute too. Around two couples. Warning: S&M.

Ok, if you want psychological that DOES spiral, this is the one for you. It’s not entirely sad or anything, and the ending is definitely unexpected, but be prepared for some turbulent reading - about an ordinary MC and his partners - some well-meaning and nice, some horrifyingly possessive....

Again, quite psychological. Let’s say that it spirals both in and out? About an MC trying to pull himself up from and unfortunate life and circumstances, and the guy he unwillingly gets involved with along the way....

One of my absolute favorites - just super cute and funny. Both MCs are capable people - only problem is that one is yakuza and one is a police officer. All the characters’ personalities are very well-written and unique. Eventually, there are three separate couples.

Two rival actors - one, polished and experienced in his acting; the other, young, but with more talent than he has yet learned to use. This is the story of one’s rivalry, one’s love, and how they handle the world around them.

A grad school student ends up spending some time with the younger brother of his school friend, only to realize they share a similar past, and an odd chemistry. The natural, un-contrived sense of the two MCs’ interactions is refreshing and makes this a good read. Be warned, though: it’s also strange, with a bit of S&M in there too.

School life slice-of-life, as two guys deal with each other and the world around them. It’s really just cute and funny. Note: nice, in that they’re not the only ones who know about their relationship.

Interesting interaction between a quiet guy and one constantly surrounded by friends. A streak of possessiveness thrown in, with an unexpected streak of independence too. Cute.
