so cute it physically hurts!!!

this makes my heart so warm oh my god!! this manga is about this old man, and the unwanted cat he adopted and just days in their life. i cannot recommend this enough if you are just wanting a wholesome read. i feel like there are some sad elements, but overall the story is incredible.

ahhh this manga is just too cute. it's also very fresh; a strong female lead and a more carefree male lead, but the pacing is really nice and they both blush quite a bit which is simply adorable and you can literally see them both start to fall in love with each other. so far it has no drama and it is pretty peaceful but it is obvious something will happen soon but who knows.

this is really sweet and relaxing. food brings two different people together; the male lead offers his onigiri to a hungry child - the younger brother of the second male lead - and he goes round to their house to help them cook. the story is really nicely paced and super cute. i mean romances with kids tend to be really heartwarming. please give this manga a read if you haven't

this manga is from the mother's pov and she's knows that her closeted son is gay. this manga is really cute and wholesome. the female lead is kind and loving, and makes sure her son feels save and comfortable about his sexuality in their home. she doesn't try and force the son to open up about it, but she makes sure that he will feel "bad" or hurt about his sexuality (the son still hasnt come out yet). not crazy about the art style but the story is really good.

this is too wholesome!! the male lead had worked under a company with a demon-like boss and is worried about his new boss. his new boss, the second male lead is really kind, adorable and a natural airhead. the relationships between the main leads is really cute, and all the characters (even characters that make one appearance) really add to the humour and cuteness of this manga. highly reccomend, this is just too cute!

i was debating about whether i should add this but the romance between the weathly male lead and the poor female lead is just too adorable to not put on the list. the couple look back on their past and they reminisce about moments in their youth. i will say, this manga is not like the others on this list and it is really sad and overall, it's a more "beautiful" romance story rather than cute, so bear that in mind, but it's really precious and i strongly recommend reading this

this manga has a rather interesting storyline - a cold male lead (im being serious, he literally produces snow) and a kind female lead. the male lead is kuudere; he shows an enigmatic face but he is often overwhelmed by the female lead's kindness or expressions, which results in his surroundings getting colder/more snowy. this is super cute, both leads are adorable.

this one is a hidden gem, the male lead is unpopular but cute and the female lead is a popular gyaru. he falls in love with her and changes his image and then confesses, and they agree to go out. they are a really cute couple, this is a really good read. i also really like the soft, adorable male lead types so this is right up my alley. they have a really good relationship, so i recommend

because there's a bit of drama i was hesitant to add this, but kimi ni todoke is an absolute classic; the unpopular, shy and scary faced (but really sweet mc) female lead and the popular, kind male lead troupe done brilliantly. a slow paced and heartwarming romance. i'll say that this is really slow, but personally, i think it's worth it. you see them learn to communicate better with each other as they fall in love with each other and as time passes. highly recommend this and the
