an unconventional mc and ml in an omergaverse. their relationship is quite dynamic and wholesome.
i don't particularly like it. it's not my ideal bl but it's pretty wholesome. sometimes I cringed bc of the mc.
ch 94... r u fcking kidding me?? the drama and angst are annoying me. that said, the mc was likable at first, but after falling in love he turned into a helpless and spineless maiden who does nothing but fret and worry. what happened to the domineering president? how is he a president/leader with that kind of attitude/persona? instead, he seems like someone who hadn't experienced many setbacks as he grew up in a cultured environment
the mc and ml are very cute/handsome. mc is quite foolish and had a pitiful childhood, but he found a sweet and loving lover, yay for him. it started out with them already married and after some chapters, mc is pregnant. then their backstory of when they met ensues. there's also a side couple (angel x demon). i really detest the demon; he's so arrogant and disdainful towards the angel. hoping the angel wouldn't fall for him.
the premise and cover art piqued my interest. it looks like the ml would be pursuing an indifferent mc, which is my ideal love story in general. the plot is mc's goal: finding his childhood friend and uncovering the murderer of the orphanage. there are some drama that slows it down but we get to know about the ml thru this.
the concept is unique. the 1st season has no romance; it is mainly focused on unraveling the characters' messed up family history and relationships which explains their current circumstances and goals (and is very different from the known story), the competition+punishment, and sets up the 2nd season. characters are interesting and well-rounded. Seth, Horus, Anubis, Isis are truly pitiful. the only downside would be that some aspects aren't explained clearly and thus confusing.
wholesome and funny. mc used to be fat and worked hard to become handsome so he can be popular. ml looks like an angel. the pacing is good. the plot is about the main leads' relationship and side couples' developing relationship. there's some drama along the way.
it's somewhat dark and heartbreaking but rather realistic. the plot progression was heading into tragedy but the ending was satisfying and good. it was so painful to see mc's suffering and how people treated him like trash. tbh I didn't really like ml initially but he had huge chara growth. and it was bc of him that mc developed a will to live and stand up for himself (ughh he's so precious)... But it's unfortunate that justice doesn't always get served.
