Is there a point? Is there any hope of finding it?
She can read minds.... Sometimes. She tends to forget that ability a lot since she can't read the mind of her husband.
It's been so long, I can't remember why I bothered. Maybe someday...
I liked this starting out, but it's just taking to so long...
Again... is there a point? Is it buried so far down I need a spade and a oxygen tank?
Another casualty of wandering plot disease.
I like this, but ... I think there is an excess of drama.
Arcs work if the plot stays interesting. Enjoyed the first part, it was a well flowing and compelling plot line (as far as it goes). Second part=annoying. Just kill her, easy peasy, albeit sleazy. Here we have the savior of a kingdom sent to another land with no support at all? What sense does that make? Wouldbe lover is a prince for fucks sake, no he isn't taking the throne, but he's still royalty. There should be no way some upstart can do as she pleases.
Not only did the translations go awry, I've lost what the plot is supposed to be. Love amongst the broken, tea, societal reformation, arranged marriage or marriage in general? What is this about? I don't really know, except one woman's desperate obsession with tea. It's kinda dull now.
This starts strong, but then it just keeps going. I liked the first part, but during the son's story it just got a little tedious so I've been picking at it to the end. Maybe one day I'll properly read the whole thing, but, then again, maybe not. It's good then later good-ish...
