A Trace Of Sun is an introspective look through the survivors guilt of the main character and how everything just ties together throughout the whole journey. The seme is left to taste but the scene stealer is The MC and the Story as well as the side characters who are all expertly written.

Saye takes the cake with a pacing that just hooks you in and characters that will have you falling in love. The chemistry between the leads are magnetic and the story leaves much for growth between the two. Makes me want to read the novel so bad.

As a queer person in an asian country, This hits from home and the reality that most queer individuals face and go through is sincerely like this. It's not the escapism that some BL offers but just a honest and human experience we go through.

When you think of chemistry you think of the leads in Semantic Error, The fun premise and the deeply intellectualized characters heavily delivers an amazing enemies to lovers experience that just feels fulfilling by the end. You won't regret reading this.

First half was amazing the push and pull dynamic sold me however the whole thing gets really tedious fast and the MC just starts looking a bit too foolish. That's not to add the unnecessary inclusion of the side couple where the plot could progress anyway without them.
Second Couple has dubious consent-like scenes.

My favorite horror, kidding aside. Lost in The Cloud is EXCELLENT writing from the backstory, the characters and the pacing of the plot. It's a psychological teenage coming of age drama that really hooks you with amazing leads and story points.

Okay so, I will be completely honest I liked it but it did not move me, Was it good? Absolutely! It's atmospheric and an absolute delight for tension of "Is he or Is he not?" I think there's a lot to be desired however in the pacing which doesn't take away from how special this series is from others but it personally was jarring, I still loved it though!

I am a bit bias because I loved this series and grew with it and I stuck around for the live action adaptation too however, now that I'm a little out of that phase I enjoyed it for what is is which is a teen romance and for its time is one of the few that actually delivers in 'ROMANCE' among series that was glorified assaults.

It's okay, I liked the pair's dynamic and growth in relationship but otherwise the concept feels unexplored and it's good for light reading if you like power dynamics and a different vibe from the usual BL pairings.

When I think of BL outside of normal tropes this one comes first, not only due to the fact that it's so out of the box but also offers a very interesting alternative to what you usually see in male pairings.
