Not worth it, Yujin is a fucking doormat I do not care and will not listen to anyone else otherwise; You might think he's being "Oh wow, he's so strong going through this" but no, he's barely shown any fucking agency nor actual personality other than his qualms with money, daughter, the family and his past it's actually insane how bland a character gets when they just serve as a plot device mind you as a MAIN CHARACTER.
"Let me go" and bitch ass was wiggling his fucking shit around literally stand the fuck up. Writing pathetic bitches for the sake of it is sooooo tired; this is depression porn bro, there is literally no other explanation.
Recently I've been getting into reading a lot more contemporary fiction rather than YA (No, Colleen Hoover though.. I avoid her works) and the main difference is a focus on the MC herself for most of what I read like Her Hidden Genius by Marie Benedict or Lessons In Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus (which mind you is wrongly marketed and underrated)
I wanted to know if you guys know of manwhas or mangas, I don't mind if it's Isekai or the usual Slice of Life I just need the FL to have some sort of agency to the story, Not that she's badass and perfect but more so that her actions affects both her and the people around her instead of 'plot' convenience or atleast one where the FL doesn't just talk to the ML and the problem is fixed out of her accord cause like what was the point then. </3
in this one, she’s a powerful as shit witch who originally died at the ml’s hand but was reborn as the title suggests, but unexpectedly as a result meets the ml again but he’s a child who she saves
as a result this time around he adores her and is a literal golden clingy retriever toward her (both as a child and later adult)

problematic prince, (novel included) she.. kinda starts off as a typical country bumpkin that’s native and almost annoying at first? but she has some character development throughout that forces her to pretty much endure being treated by the gp (general public) and most of the royal family, ml included, like shit for a good portion of the story

I ain’t gonna spoil ‘why’ she’s specifically treated like that, but just know if you stay with the story and reach the baby arc, I don’t blame you for wanting to personally beat the living shit out of the ml after what he does alongside says during and after the baby arc oh my god since the mc understandably is an emotionally fragile deeply traumatized mess after
Thank you! I started reading The Problematic Prince and I'm only a few chapters in and I love it, this is perfect for me, There's a lot of influences from Charlotte Brontë here and a bit of Jane Austen. I adore how rooted it is in its world which makes the characters feel real. You have great taste ^^
No offense, Kael was a fine option but he felt like a punching bag for the plot low-key it delegated him so bad to the second male lead roles that at some point I just felt bad that the 'fate' (bad writing) just favored Carsen more.
He didn't even have a happy ending I'm crying that man said "Goodbye, My Maythan" and never moved on which was clear when we found out Kael's strong feeling is enough to influence his souls like I'm sooooo sorry, Cedric was also delegated to a bit character despite being one of the male leads and his thing was literally just being a Cuck.
