One-shot (4*)- Being a daughter in their oppressive aritocratc family meant her life was not her own, to the degree that she would even accept an arranged marriage to the up-from-the-slums, self-made millionaire nicknamed "The Beast" to escape. But her father tells her marrying The Beast it the worst punishment he can arrange for a rebellious daughter like her, so does that mean this marriage won't bring her a chance at freedom? Will she be a pawn to her bloodline forever?
One shot (4*)- Shortly after signing a contract to exchange her record label for a hotel, April, a famous Jazz singer, is in a violent car crash. The driver, Jessie, with whom she had made the exchange, was killed. The other casualty was her memory, and now Jessie's handsome brother, Seth, has arrived to contest the exchange. Not knowing why she traded away her label, she stubbornly refuses to trade it back until her memory returns. Except for unneeded BBV, good story!
One shot (4*)- Coerced by her sister to replace her, she went to work for a respected doctor in another country. He accepted the replacement and treated her kindly, even inviting her to his home to meet his son. His son’s governess, on the other hand, immediately labels her ‘rival’ and doesn’t intend to lose.
One-shot (4*)- After being fired from her opera theater (despite a sucessful production), she is invited to perform in a far away land, but its not until she is on the ship and out to sea she learns she won't be singing. She's been hired to impersonate the king's late wife until a band of rebels can be exposed... the same rebels responsible for the original sheika's death.
One-shot (4*)- When her sister gets drunk and signs a marriage agreement, the only way the heroine can get her out of it is to agree to take her place, because he needs a wife, and it doesn't matter who, if he wants to adopt his nephew.

One-shot (4*)- Lost a star for BBV, but otherwise a good story. - She gave up her twins, but when she learns of their foster parents deaths, and their being taken in by the playboy brother, she becomes desperate to see her babies and ensure their happiness. To do this she gets hired to be their nanny, but the fact that she's their mother is not the only secret she's keeping.
Books 1 & 2 - [4* see update]- She was so happy to marry her childhood love, then she discovered he was responsible for the death of her brother and, indirectly, her father. Now she wants revenge at the altar, but he asks for 6 months to prove his innocence, and makes a pledge before witnesses - if he fails, his life is hers to take. Some sections out of order.
