An old man decided to buy an ugly cat. We have the viewpoint from both sides. A man who lost his wife, and a cat nobody wanted. I quite like it. The drawing, the protagonist, the cat...both of them match so well, one thinks it was a match made in heaven.

I think it might fit here...? Well, let us see how the plotline goes before deciding that.

Ryuichi and kotarou lost their parents in an airplane accident. During this ordeal, they met the chairman of a private school,who lost her son and daughter in law in the same way. She adopted both of them with the condition that she will take care of them until Ryuichi reaches an age where he can provide for kotarou. Rather adorable and fluffy, more for when you just want a break,since it doesn't really deal with complicated matters. It's shoujo,but I can ship some yaoi so easily

It is actually about two friends, a raccoon and a bear, living their daily lives and helping each other. It is not about raising, but I thought it would be nice to put it in for it is such a heartwarming one.

Youkai and humans coexisting in a rather peaceful way. Quite a nice read and quite realistic for this theme.

The daily life of a little girl in south America who can speak with objects. Her and her grandma are so cute.
Grandma wins in level of cuteness tho.
Anyway, it is quite the beautiful story up until now. A shame it seems it has been dropped.

Chitose-chan, the penguin who wanders around Kyoto is very soothing, for some reason.
Perhaps the art work? It isn't overly cute and warms your heart. I liked it very much.

Beautiful story. If you are one to jump the prologue, don't. I think there are many background missing, but it is good nonetheless.
