Great plot, great art. Game survival manga. It's about people who where suposed to die in a accident getting another try in life. But in enchange every other night they get transported into this weird room, equipped with all kind of weapons, and have to fight some really weird aliens and avoid to die because in they die during the fight they die in the real world.
Similar to Gantz. Futurist, gaming, survival. It´s about people getting a strange phonecard, and getting pushed to game like world where they have to survive, and if they get killed in this world they also die in the real world. Every other night the MC gets called to this world and has to survive. Follow this carachter making friends, finding out about the strange world, getting stronger, fighting some really badass dudes. If you like this one I highlly recommend Gantz.
Pandemic virus killing the population, new trade world, new technology, great art, a very heavy story, what I mean it´s has very heavy plot, abording all kinds of subjects: killing, slavery, dirty politicians, the impact of news...
Mafia/yakuza manga. Follows a girl that starts to work as bodyguard to a yakuza boss. A very strong female carachters. It has fighting, kidnapping, killing, and of course romance!
Prison, survival action manga. Similar to deadman wonderland. After a meteorite shower, some people started to have strange powers, and to secure those who didn't have powers, these people with strange powers get taken by the government to an island where they are prisoners and is every one for them self. Very good plot, a lot of fighting and making crews.
This one is classic. The movie/book Hunger games was based on this story. So every year a random class is chosen to be put in an island where they have to kill each other until only one remains. Every student gets a backpack with surving stuff and a random weapon, from a pan to granade, bomb... Follow the students to survive, sabotaging the "game", making groups, killing friends and some othe horror stuff. Very bloody but a survival must read.
Couldn't left this one out. Everyone knows this one. Ninja stuff, inner powers, demons entraped on people, reaaaaaly looong plot so no complains about ending to soon. I really liked the story, some parts were really great others not so much, actually some of them were really boring, but oh well. In general its a very well done manga. And thank god it ended it really was getting too long 0.0
Survival warning. Survival plane crash. Plane crashing in a weird island. Where there are prehistorical creatures, like the giant sloth and the saber tooth tiger. Students and adults surviving all kind of condicions, weird diseases, getting killed by animals, discouviring mysteries of the island, meeting really nasty creepy people. A must read.
