I loooove the kind of angsty drama that this manga provided us. Heartbreak and unrequited love? Yesss I lap them all up. The persistent uke from the second story is also the kind of uke that I really like, and wish to see in more bl. Also there's a lot of undertones here about regrets and moving on from them which I also love.
This manga pretty much cemented Natsume Isaku as my fav bl mangaka of all time. 5/5
*WARNING NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART*
....was this even bl? I guess it kind of counted, but hooooly shit what a fucked up story this was. As a horror / thriller genre fan, I loved this manga with all my heart, particularly with how it played around with the concept of truth and reality, and how easily an obsession toward someone / something could trap you in a web of lies, leaving you disillusioned and content with living in your own delusion. Horrifying and macabre, just the way I like it. 5/5
There's just something about this manga that felt so old-school and nostalgic, maybe it's the way the manga captured innocence in such a pure way. Also that last chapter was such a relatable portrayal of gay relationship. Like, you're lusting after the other person's body but also can't help but compare yourself and feel like your body is not up to par. It's fascinating really.
Anyway, a very cute manga, adorable uke and hot seme, I loved it. 5/5
One of the best BL couples ever, sweet, really supportive and understanding toward each other, have interesting dynamic, and just ADORE each other. Can you feel the love? Because I CAN. 4/5
Gay awakening of a man with internalized homophobia in the midst of homophobic society? Fun time for all! The art was rly hot, which really helped to sweeten the bleak mood of the story. I guess there's an analysis that can be made about the constant close-up of Kudou's piercing hole and how it symbolizes his imperfection and the void inside his heart (which is later filled by Satou with a stud, also another symbolism), but this review is definitely not the place for that lol. 4/5
The whole time i was reading this manga, i was dreading that something bad would happen, drama would arise, love rivals, etc. But....they never happened! Instead we got an incredibly wholesome story, fun MC, cute relationship, nice character and romantic developments, etc. A very pleasant surprise and I loved it. 4/5
This might sound strange, but whenever I reread this manga, I felt like it just took me straight back to my teenage years where everything wasn't that complicated yet, and most of the things on my mind were shits like pimples or exams or "omg Misato is the uke!!". I won't say it was the greatest time of my life, but sometimes you just can't help but looking back and kind of smile you know? I still love this manga even today and it'll always be part of my memory. 4/5
Wholesome and super cute. I think this manga is my fav out of all "BL with kids" genre. The character progression felt really natural and it's sooo cute to see the relationship between Hitsuji & Hatoyama slowly progressed. Can't wait to read the sequel! 4/5
Incredibly hot with unmatched sexual tension. I almost gave this manga 5 stars, but then I remembered that the main story was pretty much only comprised of one long chapter and two short extra chapters, and I prefer a more "complete" story in general. Still hot af tho. 4/5
I cried a little. Seriously tho, it was really touching and sweet at the same time. More than just a love story, this manga showed more of the feeling of loss that people experienced after the sudden death of their loved one. I really appreciated the theme and I just wish there were more lovey-dovey moments for our two MCs. 4/5
