You should try confessing to him, just to know what he truly feel about you cause from the sound of it that man is losing interest for you and if he accept then both of you should date but if he reject you then you should just forget about him, cut ties and move on and you shouldn't hold your feelings for him cause it will be harder for you to forget about it.

im no expert in love. But maybe telling him your feelings is better so you wont regret it later. If he doesn't like you back atleast you can draw a line and move on.
