I'm pretty sure this is the past life of Shuli before she made up with the kids after being revived. I don't know why they are doing this last second but I think it's because they feel sorry for Shuli. And Jeremy's fiance feels that Shuli will take Jeremy away from her and Jeremy will end up getting attached making her alone like her deceased mother(I think) as you could see the mirrored image of her mother and her father cheating on Jeremy's fiance's mother after and before she was on her deathbed.
uhhh.. so can someone please explain what happened...? I forgot who those guys were at the end and if they're bad. Also, I thought the kids in the past really didn't like her because she had this "boring" personality and would do whatever she wanted. When did they start liking her or did they always like her? And why does Jeremy's fiance not want to keep Shuli around? Her rights won't be taken away, so...?
