Actually the principal was the mentor of Gojo and his best friend (not sure but it's something like this)
When Gojo's best friend betrayed jujutsu they gave the order to kill him but Gojo didn't and the principal also didn't take any action(I guess) but they did speak somethings.. Later on in the next chapter we see that Gojo actually killed his best friend but somehow he was revived(by some kind of brain)
So the Jujutsus thinks that Gojo and the principal were an ally with the curses and they got their own penalties.
Yeah I know welp we all read the manga but thank you tho! I was just venting about how the higher ups technically do not give a shit about that, didn't /try/ to find out if getou was the real getou, the fact that they knew gojou did killed him last year and which confirmed how the principal did do his job and just go by assumptions that the multiple deaths in the basement was all gojou's fault not taking in other sorcerers who even tho were not with him when he was sealed but was around the area and knew how bad the situation was and deaths can't be avoided I'm sorry just so disappointed in them they don't even have enough teachers/students already and now they want to kill more (especially the ones they knew stood by them for a long time?) Damn it gojou, wipe them out
